Temporary Closure of Brockville; Update Feb 2026
We are sad to report that the temporary closure we announced in 2025 has been indefinitely extended. Gordon’s health issues are not restricted to the return of his cancer, and I am forced to the sorry decision that I have, for the foreseeable future, to put his care ahead of being able to extend the hospitality which has given us such joy over almost three decades. We intend to retain our licence in the hope that at some point we can resume trading, but until that time our diary has to remain closed.
Gordon and I greatly appreciate the kind personal messages and good wishes extended to us; these have helped greatly in keeping us positive.
